S0E1: What’s Next?

Nowadays, things feel different. Naturally, more and more questions about the future start to appear. I think that’s completely normal - people felt the same way in the past during major events that later turned out to change the world dramatically.
In my opinion, we are currently living through one of the most important moments since the Industrial Revolution.
It’s a strange situation, and a lot depends on perspective. Some people are afraid of what’s coming and hold tightly to traditional engineering, where everything depends on human work. Others trust these new technologies, use them, and learn how to make the most of them. I’m definitely closer to the second group.
Let’s get back to the future. I’m not a history expert, but almost every major change in history brought fear about what’s coming next. But what does that fear actually give us? What value does it add? I think it’s just a waste of time.
The pattern is clear - the world changes, and it always will. Every few decades, things get reshuffled. Just look back and see how many professions have disappeared - and how many new ones have been created.
From this perspective, I think it’s already too late to be skeptical.
To be honest, I won’t answer the question from the title - because I don’t know, and I’m sure no one really does. The future will show us.
Which side you end up on depends only on you. And yes - it’s a risk. But it’s a risk you have to take.
